Church Hat Mom

1917 - 2008

Last year on July 4th my Mom died at 91 years of age. Three of the major loves and commitments in her life were her family immediate and extend which includes her large group of friends.
There was also the residential co-op family where she lived and raised her two sons.

Then there was the the church. At The Church of the Intersession in New York City, she was given the title, now retired in her honor, 'Mother of The Church' My mom was a dedicated Church Hat Lady and these images were placed at the entrance to the sanctuary as a memorial to her during their time of mourning and remembrance.
