Technical Biography
It is easy to remember when I started working with software, 1979, since that was the year my first son was born. My first technical role as a programmer was with the Education Company of Control Data Corporation.
I moved from a team member to group leader, then a member of PSO (Plato Service Organization) and finally a system engineer where I fixed bugs and added features to authoring tools and applications. Over the run of my professional life I worked with a variety of languages, procedural such as C, Pascal, and CDC internal languages, Tutor and Micro Tutor, to OOPs languages such as C++ and Java.
I have worked with SQL in both Oracle and MySQL databases. I have also had Employment rolls on a support staff working for the local phone internet provider, with Best Buy for Business, inventing the Support process for this group as well as with the Geek Squad providing support for the Geek Squad software, fixing bugs and administering access to their applications.
My work includes working with Window applications, JAVA servlets, JSP, with both applications and servlets communicating with a database.
Lately I have worked on designing web sites, using MySQL and of course HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and it's off shoot JQuery.
Currently I am completing websites for FURI, the Family Unification Network, Sun Sealer, an outdoor consturction firm, Easy Villa, a resort rental and the Indian Treaty Project.
Lastly I am becoming proficient with The GIMP and Inkscape to effectively realize presentation graphics.
