Provided daily support for Best Buy Geek Squad group and monitored, debugged and fixed 2 Geek Squad applications using C#, which updated a knowledge bass and provided IM, (Instant Messages) between Geek Squad groups and agents world wide.

Instituted and wrote with manger BBFB overall support process and documentation that is used to identify, communicate and resolve problems with the Comergent application.
Resolve BBFB trouble ticket and pro-actively reach out to initiators of the tickets to gather additional details and work to quickly resolve the issue. Ensures the involvement of management, development, hosting, and testing teams when needed.
Updated the existing help desk Level 1 scripts to assist in the better documentation and quicker resolution of trouble tickets.
Change Coordinator which includes writing RFCs and reviewing all RFCs that impact the Comergent application. Responsible to attend twice weekly meetings with Change Management team to represent the Comergent changes and identify any potential problems to other BBFB system changes that may impact the Comergent application.

Consultant, KMA Associates August 1998 to November 1998
Reverse engineered a relational database for a human resource department of a manufacturing company. Originally written in Fox Pro, rewritten with a VB6 front end and ACCESS database. Database maintains personal records, track attendance, employee levels, status, and over time hours. Database application features include viewing rows of a table, update fields in a table, search for records using SQL statements built from user input of multi-field from, compute data in compound fields, cleanse fields in tables, run ACCESS reports from VB6 with variable fields gathered from user inputs. Database size includes 10 tables 17 reports.
Technical Consultant, Horizons Consulting Inc. 1996 to August 1998
Developed software tools for Signature 2000 tool set, a collection of Y2K analyzers. Tasks include new development of language analyzers, designed and developed an automated testing tool that uses script files to test the language analyzer. Developed main menu tool to launch all other tools. Features of this tool include dynamic menu at run time and alteration of INI files at run time. Wrote secondary analyzer and text formatting utilities in Borland C++ and Borland C++ Builder. Fixed bugs in VB4 and VB6 for a set of text analyzers. Maintained a bug tracking system with an ACCESS database. Dispensed bug reports to application developer to resolve. Co-developed application security system that uses machine unique features to prevent running of application copied to other machines. Wrote Window95, Window98 and Windows NT installs using Install 3 and Install 5.

Wrote a computerized generic test driver used to deliver computerized tests to all nursing students at Rush Medical School using the C language. Wrote courseware install scripts using Knowledge Dynamics installation software. Placed courseware under PCVS software repository system, and acted as technical consultant for DRAKE, Inc. Added features to PCD3, a large scale educational authoring system for TRO Learning using the C language.
